A classic example would be this. ABC corporation offers a product. “Here is our product,” says ABC Corporation. “We’re going to offer it for free because we know you’ll try it if it’s free.” How right they are! The majority of the American population of consumers willfully and vivaciously gorge on these products that are offered free of charge. We see this example in our everyday lives, people taking up offers that “promise” highly impossible free gifts in their stead. And why should they not? What kind of person, in their right state of mind, would want to turn down such a sweet and tempting deal?
